Designing and building a UAE freight forwarder's website from nothing, including every line of copy.
FreightBox LLC operates sea freight (FCL/LCL), bonded warehousing, and customs clearance out of Jebel Ali Free Zone, with direct contracted rates through Maersk, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, and MSC. With no existing website, I designed and built the entire platform alone.
The situation
A real freight forwarder with zero digital presence.
FreightBox LLC handles sea freight, bonded warehousing, customs clearance, and supply chain management out of Jebel Ali Free Zone, with direct contracted rates through four major carriers. It had no website at all. No way for a prospective client to understand the service scope, the carrier relationships, or how to get a quote, beyond a phone call.
What I did
Designed, coded and written solo, with no templates.
A live 3D globe instead of a stock cargo-ship photo
Coded from scratch. It traces real shipping routes as you scroll.
13 original illustrations
Every scene, from booking to customs, warehousing and delivery, was drawn from scratch around how FreightBox actually moves cargo.
Steps that lock into place
Each step in "How It Works" locks into view exactly when you reach it. On mobile, the scroll locks too, so a stray swipe can't skip past the step you're mid-reading.
The details
A live quote-turnaround dial instead of a plain form. Every carrier logo redrawn so it holds up in light and dark mode. Full technical SEO underneath: meta tags, structured data and a sitemap.
The results
From no website to a live one.
FreightBox now has a complete, animated, fully responsive site, live at freightbox.vercel.app. Analytics wasn't in the original scope, so there are no traffic numbers here yet.
